Hertha Berlin sporting director Michael Preetz has confirmed that full-back Valentino Lazaro is unlikely to leave in January.
The 22-year-old moved to the Bundesliga outfit from Red Bull Salzburg in summer 2017 and has been successfully transformed into a right-back from an attacking midfield role.

Lazaro, who is also a regular in the Austrian national team, has caught the attention of several top clubs while in the German capital with Italian Serie A giants AC Milan believed to be keeping an eye on him.
However, when quizzed about the possibility of Lazaro departing in the upcoming January transfer window, Preetz told Bild: “Tino has a contract with us until 2021. “No one has to worry that he will leave the club.”
