RB Leipzig face a battle to keep hold of forward Jean-Kevin Augustin, who is being heavily linked with a January move to Everton.
The France under-21 international has been a consistent performer since arriving at the Red Bull Arena from French giants Paris Saint-Germain in 2017, although he has been limited to just three starts in the Bundesliga so far this season.
The 21-year-old is certainly seen as part of Leipzig’s long-term future, so the German club will be keen to keep hold of him, although reports in his native France suggest they may face a battle, as Premier League outfit Everton are said to be lining up a bid when the transfer window reopens next month.
Everton certainly appear to be in the market for a striker, with Toffees boss Marco Silva seemingly unsure on current forwards Cenk Tosun and Oumar Niasse, as he has preferred to deploy winger Richarlison up front over recent weeks.
xThe Merseysiders are believed to be willing to pay 40million euros to secure the services of Augustin, which could be difficult for Leipzig to turn down, considering they paid just over a quarter of that less than 18 months ago.
