Liverpool survived a third round FA Cup upset against lowly Exeter at the Saint James Park Friday night in a 2-2 draw.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp fielded an inexperienced side with about 13 first team players out injured.
Belgian international Christian Benteke was the most recognisable big star on parade but it was strike partner in a 4-4-2 formation, Jerome Sinclair, who simply took the shine off the former Aston Villa man.
Exeter scored first in the ninth minute through Tom Nichols but Sinclair equalised for the Reds three minutes later.
The hosts went ahead again in the dying minutes of the first half through midfielder, Lee Holmes, but Liverpool left-back, Bradley Smith restored parity in the 73rd minute to ensure there will be a replay of the fixture at Anfield.
Klopp started Thiago Ilori at central defence while Seyi Ojo replaced Sinclair in the 71st minute.
