EPL side, Liverpool are reportedly lining up a £14.3m bid to sign Nigeria youngster Moses Simon, who has been dubbed as the ‘next Cristiano Ronaldo’ according to British tabloid The Metro.
The Reds are keen to bolster their squad after an unimpressive season and Brendan Rodgers has targeted the powerful and pacey Nigerian who features for Belgian side Ghent, according to Milliyet.
Simon, 19, has made two appearances for the Super Eagles and he possesses such quality that he’s expected to earn himself a big move this summer.
Tottenham Hotspur and Fenerbahce are also linked but Liverpool are confident of securing a deal.
Meanwhile Completesportsnigeria.com checks reveal that Fenerbahce are negotiating with Gent to sign Moses Simon in a bid to replaced Dutch star Dirk Kuyt.
