The League Management Company has postponed the Glo Premier League week 34 fixture between Sunshine Stars and Rangers, Completesportsnigeria.com can report.
Completesportsnigeria.com scooped that the game was moved due to the unavailability of six of Sunshine Stars players who are in Super Eagles camp in Port Harcourt preparing for this weekend's African Nations Championship qualifier second leg fixture against Burkina Faso in Ouagadougou.
The six players; Ikechukwu Ezenwa, Stephen Eze, Paul Onobi, Prince Aggreh, Ekundayo Ojo and Tunde Adeniji are regular members of the Owena Waves side.
Rangers also have three players in the squad; defenders Kalu Orji, and Etim Mathew, a late call-up in for the injured Solomon Kwambe, as well as experienced midfielder Osas Okoro.
It would be recalled that the LMC had earlier shifted all the match day 34 fixtures earlier scheduled to take place last Sunday to this Wednesday due to the first leg of the CHAN qualifier which Nigeria won 2-0.
Sunshine Stars who look good to secure their first Glo Premier League title few weeks back before a run of poor results affected their title hopes now occupy fifth position on the log, while Rangers sit in 11th position.
