Nigerian forward Ademola Lookman says Everton's five-day training camp in Dubai would prove extra advantageous at the end of the Premier League season.
As part of plans to finish the Premier League season on a high, Everton went on a five-day training camp in Dubai.
Everton arrived back in England from Dubai last Saturday, and will host Sunderland who are bottom in the league table on Saturday.
The Toffees are currently seventh on the log and are nine points adrift of the top four place.
“I got to know them (teammates) and they got to know me,” Lookman told Everton's official website about his Dubai experience.
“I’ve only just joined in January and I feel like I’m even more part of the team now, which is good.
“It takes some adapting but I’ve been doing that on the training pitch every single day. I’ve adapted well and with time I’ll adapt even more and become better as a player.
“It was very beneficial [for the squad]. We have quite a few fixtures coming up and to be able to perform in those to the highest level, you have to be 100 per cent every day. I believe that the Dubai training camp gave us that little bit extra that we needed.”
Since joining Everton from League One club Charlton Athletic, Lookman has made five appearances, scoring one goal.Fastest Paying Betting Site in Nigeria: Grab your 140% First Time Deposit Bonus Now — www.Sportybet.Com Copyright © 2021 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
