Matthew Lowton says Burnley can turn things around with a couple of quick Premier League victories. The Clarets have endured a difficult start to their campaign and three defeats from four league matches have left the club sitting 19th in the table, just one point ahead of rock-bottom West Ham United.
Europa League qualifying games appear to have taken a toll on Burnley’s squad although manager Sean Dyche, who brought in three new faces this summer, insists this is not the case.
Lowton, who arrived at Turf Moor in 2015 from Aston Villa, has featured in three matches this term and he believes Burnley will rise up the top-flight standings if they can string together a few wins.
He told the Lancashire Telegraph: “We need to turn our fortunes around very quickly at the minute but it’s a long season and if we string a couple of wins together we’ll be right back where we want to be.”
