Jordan Lukaku has boosted Lazio by confirming that he should be back in action from a knee injury within a month.
The 24-year-old Belgian wing-back missed out on a place in his country’s World Cup squad in the summer and it was later revealed he has been suffering with an injury.
Lukaku has subsequently missed the start of Lazio’s Serie A campaign because of the patellar tendonitis but he gave a positive update on Wednesday following recent scans on the affected knee.
“I’m already better,” he said. “I hope to be back on the pitch in a month, let’s see.”
