Chelsea could face a battle to keep Marcos Alonso as both Real and Atletico Madrid are keen to take him back to Spain. The defender was once on the books of Real and was coached by current boss Julen Lopetegui, who was then in charge of the B team, before he moved to England with Bolton Wanderers.
Alonso has gone on to become one of the best left-backs in Europe and reports are rife suggesting that Lopetegui wants a reunion at the Bernabeu.
Atletico are also said to be interested as they look to replace former Chelsea defender Filipe Luis, who looks set to join Paris Saint-Germain before the transfer window closes later this month.
Whether both Madrid clubs make a move before the window closes remains to be seen, but just like the interest in Eden Hazard, it is sure to be knocked back as there is no time to sign a replacement.
Alonso is also said to be very happy with Chelsea and would not push for a move away even if a big offer to return home came in.
