Following the July 17 deadline given to Nigeria by the world football governing body, Federation International Football Association, FIFA, Complete Sports can report that the Alhaji Aminu Maigari- led board may be reinstated today.
Complete Sports gathered from a very reliable source that the Jos court that sacked the NFF boss and his executive members from office after the injunction instituted by Baribote Rumson’s wife, Mrs Ebiokpor Rumson will be sitting again today to finalise the withdrawal of the case as directed by FIFA.
It would be recalled that the NFF officials were impeached from office by the extra-ordinary congress in Abuja after the Super Eagles crashed out in the second round of the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil where they lost 2-0 to the Lees Bleus of France.
The board has also been asked to account for the monies it has collected from the Federal Government in the course of running the game.
Meanwhile, the decision of the court today will determine if the suspension slammed on Nigeria by FIFA will be lifted or not.
