Mali coach Henri Kasperczak says his side will not be complacent when they kick off their 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Malawi.
The Eagles will host Malawi in Bamako today, before visiting Algeria in Blida four days later.
Group B also includes an unpredictable Ethiopia side and Kasperczak says they have to respect all of their opponents.
“We are considered one of the favourites of the group, but I am 100% sure that there is no weak team in our group,” he told reporters.
“The playing field is level now and there are no longer weak teams at all levels.”
Assistant coach Cheick Oumar Kone went to Malawi to observe the Flames in action and Kasperczak has also watched some tapes.
The national technical director, Mohamed Magassouba, will travel to Addis Ababa to watch Algeria taking on Ethiopia.
