Manchester United's top four ambitions suffered a huge setback following their 3-2 loss to West Ham on Tuesday night.
The loss meant Manchester United missed the opportunity to topple city rivals, Manchester City, who are now right back in the race for a place in the Top Four, following their 2-2 home draw against Arsenal on Sunday.
In Sunday's final fixtures of the season, Manchester United will host Bournemouth at Old Trafford while Manchester City will be guests of Swansea.
A win for Manchester United, and a loss for Manchester City, will see Louis Van Gaal's side claim the final Champions League spot. The loser in this fight and who finishes fifth in the Premier League standings will qualify to compete in the less fancied UEFA Europa League.
It would be recalled that Bournemouth defeated Manchester United 2-1 at the Vitality Stadium in their first meeting this season.

This is week 38 match, the last matches of the 2015/16 season. All matches will be played on the same day/time. Bournemouth have of course lost just three of their last 12 Premier League away matches with 5 wins 4 draws and 4 loss sounds pretty great but however the cherries have old Trafford 4 times in all competitions without winning not even scoring a goal,making it seem like man u have a way of holding them down but of course this time Bournemouth will want that history changed. In terms of goals this season,the red devils have netted only 46,lowest so far. And on the soil of old Trafford only 8 goals in total for the premier league,lower than any other this season.

This will be Manchester United’s last home match of the season and a chance to finish on a high. Their defeat to West Ham in their last match dented their hopes of a top four finish and go above Manchester City.
The Red Devils have to win this now and hope that Manchester City suffer a defeat against Swansea in their final match. Had United managed to held on to their lead against the Hammers and came out on tops, all they would had to have done is beat Bournemouth to secure a top four finish. Now all they can do is hope that Swansea can beat Manchester City and do them a favour.
It is hard to see Manchester United being up for this game as United lost 3-2 at West Ham in midweek.
