Former Super Eagles striker Obafemi Martins has been named in the Major League Soccer team of the week for the second time in five weeks.

The Seattle Sounders forward who scored one wonder goal to hand his side a 1-0 win over Houston Dynamo is partnered in attack by New England Revolution striker Juan Agudelo.

In goal, Bill Hamid of D.C. United made the cut while Kendall Waston, Nat Borchers, Jamison Olave and Joevin Jones make up the defence line. Harrison Shipp who chipped in two assists for Chicago Fire tops the list of midfielders with Sebastian Giovinco, Javier Morales and Diego Chara of Portland Timbers.
