Seattle Sounders forward, Obafemi Martins has returned to training after straining his right abductor in last month’s 3-1 defeat to the Portland Timbers in the US Open Cup, Completesportsnigeria.com can report.
The former Nigeria striker rejoined his teammates ahead of their away clash at Montreal Impact on Saturday, but it remains to be seen if he will be included in the final squad for the game.
Sounders coach Sigi Schmid however told Rave TV that the former Levante striker was 60% ready but won’t be rushed back.
“Obafemi Martins and Stefan Frei are ready but they will be fused in back gradually,” Schmid said.
Martins has notched up seven goals so far this season, picking up right where he left off following a 2014 campaign that saw him finish as the MLS MVP runner-up after finishing with 17 goals and 13 assists.Fastest Paying Betting Site in Nigeria: Grab your 140% First Time Deposit Bonus Now — www.Sportybet.Com Copyright © 2021 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
