Mascherano Leads A Wolf Pack

Germany midfielder, Bastian Schweinsteiger showed his respect for Argentina and praised the strength and character of Javier Mascherano, who he described as “the leader of a wolf pack”.

One of the heavyweights inside the “Mannschaft’s” dressing room warned of the danger posed by Alejandro Sabella’s side. Despite being fully confident in their own ability, Germany do not trust an Argentina side led by Mascherano that have not won the World Cup since 1986.

“We have to keep our cool, stay calm and be patient. Argentina deserve their place in the final. They have some world-class players: Messi, Di María, Agüero and Mascherano, who is the leader of that wolf pack”, he said.

In Schweinsteiger’s opinion, the Barcelona man showed exactly what he is made of during the semi-final against Holland when he stopped Arjen Robben’s goal-bound shot, which could have won the game for the ‘Clockwork Orange’ had it not been for ‘el jefecito’.
