Mavididi Completes Juventus Move

Defending Italian champions Juventus have signed Stephy Mavididi from Arsenal for an undisclosed fee. Mavididi turned professional at Arsenal back in 2015 although he failed to make a single senior appearance for the Gunners, with former boss Arsene Wenger preferring to use other options in his squad.

The 20-year-old, who has represented England from Under-17 to Under-20 level, played in 41 games for the club’s Under-23 team and he will now be plying his trade in Italy with The Old Lady.

He will initially link up with Juventus’ ‘B’ team and the striker, who scored two goals whilst on loan at Charlton Athletic in the second half of last season, will be hoping to eventually make his way into the senior set-up in Turin.

Mavididi becomes the ninth new arrival at the Serie A holders this summer, following the signings of Cristiano Ronaldo, Joao Cancelo, Douglas Costa, Leonardo Bonucci, Mattia Perin, Andrea Favilli, Giangiacomo Magnani and Emre Can.
