Mazzarri: Success Still Struggling With Poor Fitness

By James Agberebi:

Watford boss, Walter Mazzarri, says Nigerian forward Isaac Success is still struggling with match fitness.

Since making his club-record move from Granada to Watford in the summer, Success has found it difficult to replicate the perform that made Watford broke the bank for his service.

Success was introduced for Tom Cleverly with 10 minutes left in Watford's 1-0 away loss to Crystal Palace in the Premier League  on Saturday

Mazzarri spoke to Watford Observer on the performance of some of his players in the defeat to Palace.

"We have some players like Nordin Amrabat who need to find their fitness," he said.

"Isaac Success is the same. As well, now we have (M'Baye) Niang who also plays in the same role, and (Stefano) Okaka and (Troy) Deeney, and with Amrabat who can play as winger, and also Daryl Janmaat."

Success is part of the players invited for the Super Eagles ahead of their two international friendly games against Senegal and Burkina Faso in London on March 23 and 27 respectively.
