Nigerian midfielder, Sunday Mba, will be offered a new deal to remain at his Turkish club, Evkur Yeni Malatyaspor, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
Mba helped Yeni Malatyaspor secure promotion to the top flight division for the first time since 2006 despite losing 4-0 in the final day of the league season on Saturday to Sivasspor who made an immediate return to the Turkish Super Lig after being relegated at the end of the 2015-16 season.
The 2013 Africa Cup of Nations Winner s one of the three players who have one year left on their current deal. The Others include Caner Arici, Osman Firat, Mehmet Sak and Murat Akca.
Malatyaspor coach, İrfan Buz, told Hurriyet Daily News: "Our road was incredibly thorny; we had a lot of sleepless nights, and we sometimes broke out in a rash," Buz said.
"Some players will be offered new deals and some will go. There will be discussions with Mba, Caner Arici, Osman Firat,"
Mba and his compatriots, Azubike Okechukwu and Amos Amutu are set to play in the top flight in the Turkish Super Lig next season.
