Nigeria’s Super Eagles will this evening (Saturday, 11 October) play against Sudan on Match Day 3 of the 2015 African Cup of Nations qualifiers in Khartourm.
The Eagles with Stephen Keshi in charge on temporary basis lost their opening qualifying game against Congo in Calabar on 6 September and held South Africa to a goalless draw four days later in Cape Town.
Nigeria’s hopes of defending the 2013 AFCON title will be in tatters if the Eagles do not win this away tie away to Sudan, as well as the reverse fixture in Abuja on Wednesday, 15 October.
Meanwhile, Nigeria’s Super Falcons will also be in action today as they begin their campaign in the 9th edition of the African Women Championship(AWC) in Namibia.
The Edwin Okon’s team will battle Cote d’ Ivoire in a Group A game as the Falcons set out to reclaim the African title they lost to Equatorial Guinea in 2012.
What is your message to both teams as they play the two crucial games on today?
