Lionel Messi, who missed Barcelona win against Guangzhou Evergrande due to illness, scored the first goal in the 36th minute.
Luiz Suarez doubled Bacelona’s lead when he struck on 49 minutes.
Suarez grabbed his second and Barcelona’s third to secure a 3-0 win.
The win now sees Barcelona claim their third FIFA Club World Cup title.
In the third place match that was decided prior to the final, Sanfrecce Hiroshima beat Guangzhou Evergrande 2-1.
Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Paulinho have Guangzhou a fourth minute lead.
But a brace from Douglas in the 70th and 83rd minute gave Sanfrecce Hiroshima the win.
