Crystal Palace assistant manager Ray Lewington believes the best is still to come from Max Meyer. Germany international Meyer made the switch to Selhurst Park in the summer on a free transfer after his contract at Schalke expired and he has been gradually settling into his new surroundings in England.
The 23-year-old midfielder has made 10 Premier League appearances this season and his best performance arguably came in the 0-0 draw against Manchester United at Old Trafford last time out.

With the Oberhausen-born star starting to gel with his teammates, Roy Hodgson’s number two Lewington is confident the supporters will start to see improved displays from Meyer. “Now he has spent a few months with us settling in, with us getting to know him and him getting to know us, and with his performance at Manchester United, you could say he has shown everyone that it will have to be someone good to get him out of the side,” he told Eagles fans at a meeting of the Supporters Trust this week.
“His next thing from that position, is can he score us a goal? We need players like him, Macca [James McArthur], Schluppy [Jeffrey Schlupp] and Andros [Townsend] to chip in with goals, as well as the centre-forwards and the full-backs getting forward.”Fastest Paying Betting Site in Nigeria: Grab your 140% First Time Deposit Bonus Now — www.Sportybet.Com Copyright © 2020 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
