Super Eagles skipper John Mikel Obi is reportedly keen to join Turkish Champions Besiktas only if he is guaranteed regular playing time at the club and more money Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
According to Turkish tabloid Harberturk, Besiktas are willing to offer the 29 year old a deal to join the club but the Nigeria international wants assurance of regular first team action before committing to the move.
"Mikel did enquire about Besiktas and there were talks it all depends on what their board decide to do," one of his representatives, Mesrun Izzet, told Haberturk.com.
"Money is of course important but Mikel wants first-team football if he is to move.“
If Mikel makes the move to Besiktas, he will become the second Nigerian to agree terms with the club after Kenneth Omeruo who joined last week.
Mikel's place at Chelsea has continued to be on the line with Leicester midfielder N'Golo Kante and AS Roma star Radja Nainggolan heavily linked as Mikel direct replacement.Fastest Paying Betting Site in Nigeria: Grab your 140% First Time Deposit Bonus Now — www.Sportybet.Com Copyright © 2021 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
