Henrikh Mkhitaryan is still a doubt for Arsenal ahead of Thursday’s Europa League clash away at Qarabag. The Gunners defeated Vorskla 4-2 at the Emirates in their Group E opener and Unai Emery’s men will be confident of coming away with all three points in their second European adventure of the season.
Arsenal will be making the trip to Azerbaijan to take on Qarabag, who lost 2-0 to Sporting in their first match, but the visitors may have to do without the services of Armenian playmaker Mkhitaryan.

Tensions are still high between Armenia and Azerbaijan over the disputed Nagorno Karabakh region, where a ceasefire was declared in 1994 after fighting erupted several years earlier.
Mkhitaryan did not travel with Borussia Dortmund to a Europa League game against Gabala in October 2015, with the German club’s chief executive Hans-Joachim Watzke citing “safety concerns”.
After the Europa League draw in August, Arsenal said they would make a decision after talking to the 29-year-old, who signed from Manchester United in January.
The Gunners said: “Safety and security of all our players and staff is always a top priority. We will be looking into this situation, talk to the player and make a decision after that.”Fastest Paying Betting Site in Nigeria: Grab your 140% First Time Deposit Bonus Now — www.Sportybet.Com Copyright © 2021 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
