Croatia captain Luka Modric was voted Budweiser Man of the Match after his brilliant performance in his side’s 3-0 Russia 2018 World Cup win against Argentina in Group D on Thursday.
It was Modric’s second Man of the Match award after he first picked the award in Croatia’s 2-0 win against Nigeria.
Modric doubled Croatia’s lead with 10 minutes left as he let fly a superb volley from range which flew past Willy Caballero.
It was Modric’s second goal of the tournament after getting on the score sheet against Nigeria, converting a second half penalty.
Apart from scoring, Modric was outstanding for Croatia as he orchestrated play excellently from midfield.
