Modric Claims Second MOTM Award After Argentina Win

Croatia captain Luka Modric was voted Budweiser Man of the Match after his brilliant performance in his side’s 3-0 Russia 2018 World Cup win against Argentina in Group D on Thursday.
It was Modric’s second Man of the Match award after he first picked the award in Croatia’s 2-0 win against Nigeria.
Modric doubled Croatia’s lead with 10 minutes left as he let fly a superb volley from range which flew past Willy Caballero.
It was Modric’s second goal of the tournament after getting on the score sheet against Nigeria, converting a second half penalty.
Apart from scoring, Modric was outstanding for Croatia as he orchestrated play excellently from midfield.

  • The assist for that 3rd goal would have been waisted by Moses or IGHALO.

I hope that Rohr have seen that Argentina is very beatable.
I hope he does not play his over defensive game .
We need to attack, attack and attack both Iceland and Argentina.
No more experiments, no matter what pattern our opponents play stick to your gun.
Play your game. Plan for early goals before they settle down.
Make it a strategy to always score early and late goals.

I COMPLETELY agreed on your comment that the assist for the 3rd goal would have been wasted by either Moses or IGHALO. It is a sign of a losing team anytime you see an attacker that isn’t ready to share with fellow players at opponents’ goal mouth.
