Speaking after receiving the coveted award, Molinari revealed his goals for the future and the world number one spot along with gold at the 2020 Olympics are at the top of his list.

“I am over the moon to be honoured with the Collari d’Oro,” said the current World No. 7. “My dream now is to win a gold medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, and continue chasing the dream to become world number one, and in the process become an example for generations to come.”
