Monaco boss Thierry Henry will reportedly go all out to sign Cesc Fabregas when the January window opens. The pair previously played together at Arsenal and Fabregas’ lack of action at current club Chelsea could persuade him to seek a winter exit.
Henry is looking to add experience to his young squad at Monaco, who currently sit 19th in Ligue 1 and have won just twice since he was appointed in October.
Reports in France say Paris Saint-Germain are keen on the 31-year-old as they seek midfield reinforcements who are also eligible to play in the Champions League.

However, Monaco are thought to hold the advantage due to the presence of Henry, while there is another familiar face to Fabregas at the Stade Louis II, with the man who signed him for the Blues in 2014, Michael Emenalo, currently Les Monegasques’ sporting director.
Emenalo is also thought to be keen on matching the playmaker’s current salary, whereas PSG counterpart Antero Henrique is instead looking to cut a deal in return for more regular football.
