Sean Morrison says Cardiff have to tighten up at the back but there were plenty of positives to take from the Arsenal loss. The Bluebirds head into the first international break of the season with two points from four games, but there is plenty to be optimistic following some encouraging signs.
Having pushed Arsenal all the way and scored their first Premier League goals of the season, captain Morrison believes they have set the standard for the months ahead.
Morrison accepts there is plenty to work on, including tightening up at the back, but is encouraged by what he has seen from Neil Warnock’s men so far.
“We know there’s stuff we’ve got to clean up on,” Morrison said. “We can’t concede three goals and win a game, but there were lots of positives to take from that performance.
“When you don’t score in the first three games and you think ‘will it come?’ I’m sure it would have been weighing on a few of the boys.
