Super Eagles Victor Moses has said he hopes to be fit for Nigeria’s last group game against Argentina after he missed the 1-0 win over Bosnia in the early hours of Sunday “after a small niggle” he revealed via a tweet.
The Chelsea loanee hailed his teammates for their remarkable win against the Dragons.
“Great win for us. The lads were brilliant and the fans were amazing. I hope to be fit for the Argentina game after a small niggle #Nigeria,” Moses tweeted.
Nigeria must avoid defeat in their final group game against Argentina in Porto Alegre on Wednesday to be assured a place in the next round of the tournament.
With the victory against Bosnia, the Eagles have scored 18 goals so far at the World Cup and have won more games (five games) than any other African country. Ghana and Cameroon come closest with four wins.
