Moses Happy To Join Super Eagles “Boys” In London Camp

By Adeboye Amosu:
Victor Moses is thrilled  to have linked up with his international teammates ahead of the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The Super Eagles started camping for the competition last week Monday in Uyo, South South Nigeria, but Moses was granted an extended break by coach Gernot Rohr after featuring in Chelsea’s Emirates FA Cup final win against Manchester United this month.
He finally joined the team in London on Thursday ahead of Saturday’s friendly fixture  against the Three Lions of England at the Wembley.
“Good to be back with the boys 🇳🇬 #SuperEagles,” Moses tweeted on Thursday.
The Chelsea star’s arrival increased the number of players in the Super Eagles camp to 26.
The quartet of Dele Ajiboye, Uche Agbo, Stephen Eze and Junior Lokosa were dropped after Monday’s friendly against Democratic Republic of Congo.
Only 23 players will make the squad for Russia 2018 where the team will face Argentina, Croatia and Iceland.

    • Mekus 3 years ago

Can u point out a place in this article where he appreared proud?

    • Victor 3 years ago

How? I don’t understand. Should he have said ” Good to be back with the Men”?

      • Paschal 3 years ago

My problem is not with the statement. Rather he seems npt to have respect for younger members of the squad. Remember the way he treated Iheanachp with free kicks. The way he was behaving like Iheanacho is a nobody to suggest anything to him. Remember also that after Iwobi scored against Zambia, Ndidi went to congratulate Moses but he just ignored Ndidi. Thats not how to be a professional. I pray he doesnt become arrogant. It is from that point of view i will support Chima.

        • @Pascal, ,
Na wa ooo, even women don’t keep all this things to heart not to talk of a man.
Better free your mind of all this dirty things you are spilling out.
This is how people sow seed of hatred between individuals.
          Say no to malice.

    • Bro take it easy…How does Moses tweet “Good to be back with the boys” make him sound proud??

    • Chimnn 3 years ago

Y are we too critical atimes.didn’t see any trace of pride in his comment.

    • Na wah ooo. man no fit yarn again. wetin the guy talk now wey u dey say he proud?

    Welcome bro Mos…!
beware of bad belly people, like walker who may wanna down your wc dream.. I wish you all injury free more especially against England on Saturday

  • @that is the slags,it is not proud ooo oga,
go and check the meaning of proud, remember another name for proud is rude, arrogant, which Moses didnt show here

Hope Chima is not in jealous mode . A guy like Moses who works his way up have no time for pride. That l can tell you.

I just don’t understand why people like to make unnecessary criticism. Why on earth did Moses express a speech of pride? I beg, let’s rally round these boys to give us something to share at the forthcoming world cup. You are welcome Victor Moses. Soar Super Eagles. Just beat England for me for the first time.

Everybody neglected moses’ tweet but reacted to Chima’s comment…

  • Soccer is played by boys, not men. What’s the name of the South African team? Bafana, Bafana => The boys, The boys.

Let’s not chase shadows and leave the solid substance to slip away. Croatia must fall.

@pascal, common bro, Moses family was killed by Nigerian jihadists still the guy is still playing for the same country that murdered his family, common guys let’s show the guy some respect. By U said he disrespected Iheanacho, who’s Iheanacho a player that has not improved since 2013.

  • Well….wether he’s proud or not, he will still be one of the best performers that day.

  • obi mikel 3 years ago

moses along with Mikel na we best players so go to hell you haters

  • Though my own observation has nothing to do with tweets, but appears that Moses plays selfish game whenever he is playing for the Super Eagles. There are many occasions where one would have expected him pass a ball to someone else but instead he would want to do it all alone. I don’t know how he could be corrected of this. We don’t need this type of atutude in this tournament.
