Chelsea star, Victor Moses has described The Blues' Saturday's clash with Crystal Palace as a tough game but is happy they won the away match to maintain their top position in the Premier League table, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
The Nigeria international also admits that they fought hard to subdue Crystal Palace at Sehurst Park.
While celebrating the win via his Twitter handle shortly after the match, the Super Eagles winger recounts his days at Crystal Palace and says it was great playing against his former team.
Moses who played for Crystal Palace between 2007 and 2010 before he moved to Wigan Athletic, scored 11 goals in 58 appearances for the Selhurst Park team.
"Tough game today, but the lads battled hard and buzzing with the win!," Moses' tweet reads.
"Always good to go back to Selhurst Park. Great memories there for me 🏾 #CFC.
With the away victory, Chelsea extend their lead in the Premier League table with 43 points after 17 games.
