Stoke City boss Mark Hughes is hoping to see Nigerian winger Victor Moses return back to action for Stoke in as little as three weeks from now.
Hughes bumped into his on-loan winger during Stoke’s premier league clash with Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park in London and was encouraged by the latest news on his thigh injury.
Moses was returned to parent club Chelsea for treatment last month and so this was the first chance to see him in the flesh.
“It was good to see him,” Hughes exclaimed after Saturday’s 1-1 draw at Selhurst Park.
“The (medical) lads had a quick look at him and were happy with how he is.
“Hopefully, we will get him back before the New Year. Or if not, soon after.”
He then added: “It’s probably another three weeks before he comes back.”
Moses who turned 24 at the weekend has been a hit since moving to the Britannia stadium on a season loan deal from Chelsea.
