Super Eagles winger, Victor Moses, is disappointed to see Chelsea lose for the first time in three pre-season International Champions Cup (ICC) games, following Wednesday’s defeat against Arsenal at the Aviva Stadium, Dublin Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
The Blues lost 6-5 on penalties after they were held to a 1-1 draw by the Gunners who grabbed a late equaliser through Alexander Lacazette to cancel Anthony Rudiger’s early header.
Moses came in for Spanish winger Pedro in the second half of the encounter and scored Chelsea’s third penalty in the shoot-out.
It was his second pre-season game after featuring in last Saturday’s win against Italian club, Inter Milan.
The former Wigan winger was happy to make an appearance in the game and is already looking forward to Sunday’s Community Shield clash against Manchester City.
“Not the result we wanted but good to get more minutes in the bank. We move on to the game on Sunday now. #fitness #CFC,” Moses wrote on his Twitter handle.
