Moses Scores, Named MVP As Chelsea Edge PSG

By Nurudeen Obalola:
Nigeria forward Victor Moses was named man of the match as his goal set Chelsea on their way to a penalty shootout win over PSG on Saturday night.
Full time ended 1-1 but Chelsea won 6-5 penalties in the International Champions Cup clash in Charlotte, USA.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic gave the French champions the lead in the first half but Chelsea responded after the break with the impressive Moses stabbing home from a glorious Cesc Fabregas assist in the 65th minute.
Moses looked lively throughout his time on the pitch, before giving way in the 70th minute for Loic Remy as Jose Mourinho made a raft of substitutions.
Moses’compatriot Mikel Obi was also on from the start as the English champions got their first ICC win. Mikel was replaced at the start of the second half by Ramires.
Chelsea lost their first ICC match on Wednesday 4-2 to an understrength New York Red Bulls side with Moses also standing out.
The Super Eagles star’s brilliant showings are expected to persuade Mourinho to give him another shot at getting a regular spot with the Blues.
Moses spent the last two seasons on loan, first at Liverpool, then at Stoke.
