Chelsea winger Victor Moses looks set to join Stoke City on a season-long loan deal, according to reports.
The Nigeria international spent last season with Liverpool, with Blues boss Jose Mourinho deeming him surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge.
But Moses struggled to impress on Merseyside and now looks set for another temporary move, this time with Mark Hughes at Stoke, according to the Stoke Sentinel.
The Potters were poised to move for Liverpool’s Oussama Assaidi, after his loan spell with the club last term.
But Assaidi’s wage demands proved too much for Hughes, who has finally given up on a deal and instead turned his attentions to Moses.
The 23-year-old joined Chelsea in 2012 in a £9m deal from Wigan and made 43 appearances in his first season at west London club.
But Mourinho saw no place for the youngster in his squad last term and looks certain to ship him out on loan once again.
