Nigeria international, Victor Moses, has stated that Chelsea’s target this season is to win the English Premier League, FA Cup and EFL Cup.
With no involvement in European competition this season, Chelsea enter the EFL Cup at the second-round stage, welcoming League One side Bristol Rovers to Stamford Bridge on Tuesday.
The Blues defeated West Ham and Watford in their first two games of the new season.

“This season every trophy is important, whether it’s the League Cup, FA Cup or Premier League,” Moses told chelseafc.com.
“I think it’s going to be a very interesting season for us. We have lots of players who are capable of winning us games so as long as we stick together as a team we should do well.”
Moses, who has featured in Chelsea’s two games in the new campaign, says it is important for the team to build on what has been a promising start.
“I’m pleased with my form but the most important thing is the wins,” he added.
“We’ve taken six points from two games so the players, manager and fans are all really pleased. We’re just going to keep working hard; we know every game is difficult so we’re taking it step by step.
“I’m feeling good. It’s important for me to take my chances when I get them and keep working hard for the team. The most important thing is for us to keep on winning games and on a personal note I just need to focus on doing what I’m good at out on the pitch and enjoying myself.”
Speaking ahead of the fixture against Bristol Rovers, Moses says there will be no danger of complacency within the squad.
“If you look at the team right now we are all very fit which is helping,” he said. “We want to carry on winning matches but this won’t be an easy game, they’re a League One side and it’s often difficult to play against teams from the lower leagues. The manager is clear in what he wants us to do and with the ability we have in the side, hopefully we can put that all together and win the game.”
He went on to hail Mikel Obi and Nigeria U-23s for clinching bronze in the football event at the just concluded Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
“I was watching the games. Obi was the captain, the leader of the side and he did really well for them. It wasn’t easy for them to go out to Brazil and win a medal so I’m very proud.
“They did their best so to come home with a bronze medal is great and I hope the whole country are proud of them.”Fastest Paying Betting Site in Nigeria: Grab your 140% First Time Deposit Bonus Now — www.Sportybet.Com Copyright © 2021 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
