Moses Out For Three weeks

Stoke City winger Victor Moses could face three weeks on the sidelines with a thigh injury.

The winger limped out of Saturday’s defeat at Sunderland after just 18 minutes and won’t be teaming up with Nigeria’s Super Eagles ahead of their AFCON double-header against Sudan on the 11th and 15th in Obdurman and Abuja respectively.

Moses had been recalled to the squad for the qualifiers by Nigerian coach Stephen Keshi having missed last month’s qualifiers against Congo and South Africa.

But he has been replaced by Dolphins FC winger Emem Eduok, with africanfootball.com reporting Keshi as saying Moses’s injury will rule him out for three weeks.
