Nigeria international and West Ham United midfielder, Victor Moses, hopes to help the Hammers win their 4th straight away win of the season in the Barclays Premier when they clash against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light today (Saturday), Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
Coincidentally, Moses is expected to make his 4th League appearance. West Ham manager, Slaven Bilic, will be banking on the loanee from Chelsea who has been in fantastic form for them, to secure a fourth straight win.
Moses was instrumental in West Ham's 2-1 away win against Manchester City after netting the opener with a long range strike which flew past veteran goalie, Joe Hart.
The Nigerian has played four games in all competitions so. for West Ham, including a Capital One Cup away match which they lost 2-1 to Leicester City.
Moses has played a sub role in one match, out of four in all competitions for the Hammers. Remarkably, it was in the the League game at Manchester City that he rose from the bench to score his one goal so far for the club.
Since the appointment of Slaven Bilic, the Hammers have shocked the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City right in their backyard.
The Hammers have never won four consecutive away games in the Premier League season. The last time they did it in the top flight was in 1985-86 season.
On their part, Sunderland, who have just one victory in six Premier League games against West Ham, are now on a 10-game winless streak (D4 L6); the longest current run in the competition.
And with no sign of things improving yet, it is unlikely the Black Cats have what it takes to contain a rampant Hammers side.
