Mourinho Cares About Nothing! What Pep Says, United’s Unbeaten Run, Players’ Exit

By James Agberebi:

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has dismissed Pep Guardiola's claim that Manchester City are out of the Premier League title race.

Last weekend, Manchester City were hammered 4-0 by Everton at Goodison Park.

The defeat leaves City 10 points behind leaders Chelsea, prompting Guardiola writing off his team's chance of winning the title this season.

When asked about his thoughts about Guardiola's claim during his Friday's Press Conference ahead of Saturday's Premier League away game against Stoke City, Mourinho said: "I don’t comment on what Pep says."

When asked about United letting more players depart in the January transfer window following Memphis Depay's move to Olympique Lyon, Mourinho said the door is open to more disgruntled players.

"If there are other unhappy players who want to go, I won’t stand in their way."

Mourinho went on to play down United's unbeaten run so far.

"I don’t care about the unbeaten run.

We will not play any match to extend an unbeaten run to 20 or even more.
We play to win."

And commenting on his take about the January transfer market: "The best time is the summer market, I always consider the January market to be an emergency one to solve problems.

"I was not even thinking of selling Morgan and Memphis, it was only because the right offer arrived.

"It wouldn’t have been human to prevent Morgan and Memphis leaving."
