Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho has assured that Nigerian midfielder John Mikel Obi will get his chance to play for the Blues this season.
Mikel who played five pre-season games for the Blues faces stiff competition from the quartet of Nemanja Matic, Ramires, Cecs Fabregas and Marko Van Ginkel in midfield for a place in starting eleven.
But Mourinho believes he has adequate cover in all positions to challenge on four fronts this season.
‘Everybody will have a chance, nobody will feel as though they are first choice or second choice.
For example, in midfield we have Mikel, Matic, Ramires, Fabregas and Van Ginkel, so everybody will play and will feel useful, important.
