Wolves midfielder Joao Moutinho feels more top players will want to come to Molineux if the club can impress this season. Moutinho made the move to Wolves over the summer from Monaco in a reported £5million deal.
The 32-year-old midfielder has won league titles in his homeland of Portugal and France, and helped his country land the Euro 2016 trophy.
Moutinho feels more big names will be open to joining Wolves if the club can continue to progress, having secured promotion from the Championship last year.
“We need to talk about the reality, the present,” he told the Express & Star.
“If you do a good present, you can be better the next year.
“You need to focus 100 per cent on this year as it’s very important.
“After that, we see what is better. If we do good things, I think it’s easier for the club to spend more money on more very good players – and it’s easier for players to want to come here.”
