Thomas Muller is looking to improve his record of never having lost a competitive match against Argentina great Lionel Messi.
The Bayern Munich star is three from three against the Barcelona ace for both club and country and is targeting a fourth straight competitive victory when Germany meet Argentina in the World Cup final today.
“It’ll be very important to push ourselves to the limit, especially defensively. You need to be quick to keep up with Messi,” said Muller who has scored five goals in the 2014 tournament making it ten World Cup goals in total.
“We’ve played against Messi a few times. I’ve never lost a competitive game against him.
