Super Eagles forward Ahmed Musa as emerged as his former club CSKA Moscow's top goal scorer in the 2016 calendar year, the club confirmed on Tuesday.
Musa who left CSKA for English Premier League champions Leicester City in August this year, scored eight goals in 2016.
Musa scored seven in the Russian top flight and one in the Russian Cup.
But it hasn't been all rosy for the 24-year-old winger as he has only scored two goals in 13 league appearances for Leicester so far.
In joint-second place at CSKA are Alan Dzagoev and Roman Eremenko who each scored seven goals.
Dzagoev has five in the league and two in the Cup, while Eremenko has six in the league and one in the Cup.
In third position is Ivory Coast's Lacina Traore with six goals (five league goals and one Cup goal).
