  • The painful thing there is Alex Iwobi might not be in the starting line up

@Lloyd. I agree. Iwobi needs to. Improve. I only watch arsenal games because of Jim and he’s been below his best. Hope he can reach full form before the world cup.

      • @K baba, you are on point. But the funny aspect of IWOBI and V. Moses is that when they come to the National team they are really different and play like our Messi/Ronaldo. So i have no cause to worry about his current form @Club level

Sorry Tammy. You got this wrong. Going to the WC with Nigeria was a done deal. But you chose England, where you knew your chances were very slim looking at the competition for places in the position you play. As a striker, you have to score an of average of 10 goals to make any Three Lion team, even at that, nothing is guaranteed. Not so with the SE. All you need to do is to keep playing well for your club, stay in a top league (not necessarily a top club) and you’ll always get your chance. Ahmed Musa is a sure bet for World without kicking a ball for Leicester City. No matter what happens to Iwobi at Arsenal, his place in Russia is confirmed. Only God knows who advises these young kids. Some of them would have been great on the continent but they always prefer to sit in their comfort zones where nothing falls on their laps even with their above average performance. With the kind of playing time Tammy is getting at Swansea, no sane SE coach will drop him from the WC team. Good luck anyway. Wishing you the very best in the years to come.

    • Sorry, but you got off point. The article is on the exploits of Musa and Iwobi the miracle boy – I’ll never forget how he knocked off Zambia. Enough of Tammy, please. Let him enjoy the fallout of his choice.
