Richie Myler says the Leeds squad are buying into new boss David Furner’s methods and expects the Rhinos to enjoy the 2019 season.
The West Yorkshire outfit parted ways with Brian McDermott midway through the last campaign, club legend Kevin Sinfield taking charge until the end of the year but failing to get the team back on track.

Leeds’ defence of their Super League crown never got off the ground and they eventually finished ninth in the standings, successfully battling against relegation in the Qualifiers.
Having won the Super League Grand Final six times in the last decade, Rhinos fans expect more from their team and Myler is confident the Headingley outfit won’t be disappointed in 2019.
Myler, who will skipper Leeds in their traditional Boxing Day clash with Wakefield, says Furner’s new methods have gone down well with the team and believes the Australian can put them on the right path.
He told the club’s website: “I am enjoying pre-season and the new stuff Dave’s come in with. Everyone else is buying into it and really enjoying it. “The new lads have settled in well and they are great additions so hopefully we can have a good year.”Copyright © 2020 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
