Keylor Navas has conceded Real Madrid are suffering without the goals of their former forward Cristiano Ronaldo.
Los Blancos suffered a shock defeat on Tuesday night in the Champions League at the hands of CSKA Moscow in Russia, leaving Real with work to be done if they are to progress to the knockout stages.
Having seen star forward Ronaldo leave the Santiago Bernabeu for Juventus over the summer, goalkeeper Navas has admitted it has been tough to replace the Portuguese star.
“Cristiano left a very high bar at Real Madrid,” Navas told reporters, as cited by Cadena Cope.
“You cannot cover the sun with a finger…he scored a lot of goals while he was at the club, but it is already in the past and we cannot live in the past.”
