Nigeria national basketball team, D’Tigers' forward, Al-Farouq Aminu returned to action after 13 weeks out due to injury early Friday morning in the NBA for his side, Portland Trail Blazers who lost 86 – 88 to the Memphis Grizzlies, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
Aminu 26, who was making his 11th appearance in the NBA this season, played for 24 minutes and scored 2-of-9 shots for five points.
He also scored 11 rebounds and made two assists, two steals during the encounter before leaving the court with a back injury.
Aminu remains a doubt for the Blazers' next game away to the Indiana Pacers.
The Trail Blazers can call up either Ed Davis or Evan Turner as replacement for the Nigerian basketball star who has scored 61 points this season.
