Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi made a return to the Leicester City line-up but ended up on the losing side following their 1-0 loss to Championship club Wolverhampton Wanderers in a pre-season game at the Molineux Stadium on Saturday.
Ndidi's Super Eagles teammate Ahmed Musa, who was on the bench in Leicester's 0-0 draw against MK Dons on Friday, was not listed against Wolves.
Ndidi was left out of Friday's line-up, along with some key players who featured on Saturday.
The only goal of Saturday's game was scored by Ivan Cavaleiro in the 60th minute which secured the win for Wolves.
Other Leicester City first team players who made a return to the team included Riyad Mahrez, Jamie Vardy, Christian Fuchs, Wes Morgan and Marc Albrighton in what looked like their strongest side.
Leicester will take on another Championship club Burton Albion in their next pre-season friendly on Tuesday.
