Ndidi Rated Best EPL Tackler Ahead Of Dembele, Kante, Fernandinho

Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has topped the list of the best tacklers in the English Premier League, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
Ndidi has featured in 26 EPL games for Leicester City so far this season.
According to the Leicester Mecury, The Super Eagles star has made 113 successful tackles this season, 28 more than his closest rival.
Everton’s Idrissa Gueye is in second place with 85 successful tackles.
Tottenham Hotspur’s Moussa Dembele is rated the third while Manchester City’s Fernandinho and Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante are in fourth and fifth places.
The Nigerian international also ties Crystal Palace Luka Milivojevic for the most fouls committed in the EPL.
Both players have committed 52 fouls.

    Ndidi has been joining the attack more recently, which is great. Thanks to his long legs and height also popping up in the box for corner kicks. What he needs to add are dribbling skills, which is where Dembele has an edge. But all depends on the pattern a club plays. Leicester depend too much on a “kick and rush” strategy, targeting their Speed King, Vardy. This makes it impossible for the midfield to hold on to the ball and think.

    A problem for Ndidi and for Nigeria is that he is playing too many matches and likely to suffer physical burn and mental fatigue when the World Cup starts. The Argentine coach has been complaining to Barca to use Messi less. For a defender it’s worse because more energy goes into tackling
