Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi was one of Leicester City’s top rated players while teammate Kelechi Iheanacho was scored average in their 2-1 home loss to Chelsea after extra-time in the quarter-finals of the Emirates FA Cup in Sunday.
The ratings was done by Leicester Mercury, who scored each Leicester players out of 10 for their performances.
According to the ratings, Ndidi got seven, while Iheanacho who was replaced by Shinji Okazaki in the second half was rated five.
Aside from Ndidi, Harry Maguire, Marc Albrighton and Jamie Vardy were the other players who got seven.
Commenting on Ndidi’s tireless display, Leicester Mercury wrote:”Won tackle after tackle as he competed effectively with Kante.”
While for Iheanacho, the paper said: “Couldn’t make the same impact he did at West Brom. Too many poor passes.”
Both Ndidi and Iheanacho are expected in the Super Eagles’ camp ahead of their double header friendlies against Poland and Serbia on March 23 and 27 respectively.
