By James Agberebi: Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi was rated Leicester City best player while his compatriot Kelechi Iheanacho also earned top marks in their 1-1 home draw against Swansea in their Premier League clash on Saturday.
The ratings, done by Leicester Mercury, was an assessment of each Leicester player on a scale of one to 10.
The game saw Iheanacho get a rare start for Leicester before he was substituted, while Ndidi as usual played 90 minutes.
And according to Leicester Mercury, Ndidi was rated eight, while Iheanacho, who provided the assist for Jamie Vardy to give Leicester the lead, got seven.
Ndidi was brilliant in Leicester’s midfield and scored a goal that was disallowed.
Commenting on Ndidi’s performance, Leicester Mercury wrote:”Took his goal that wasn’t to be superbly. A dominant display.”
On Iheanacho, the local Leicester paper wrote: “Set up three great chances, including the goal, with good link-up play.”
